Description

Secretaries/administrators are involved with the coordination and implementation of office procedures and frequently have responsibility for specific projects and tasks and, in some cases, oversee and supervise the work of junior staff. answering telephone calls maintaining diaries arranging appointments taking messages typing and word processing filing organising and servicing meetings (producing agendas and taking minutes) managing databases prioritising workloads recruiting, training and supervising junior staff handling correspondence implementing new procedures and administrative systems liaising with relevant organisations co-ordinating mail-shots and similar publicity tasks.
